Preserve Precious Memories With A Laminating Machine
Sadly for many people it is only in later years that you realize just how many precious moments from your life were committed to nothing more than your memory which, unfortunately, is not as good as it used to be. Laminating your photographs is a simple process of popping each photograph into a plastic pouch and then running it through a laminating machine which heats the plastic to provide a seal around the photograph preventing dirt, damp and indeed anything else from getting at it and causing it to deteriorate.
Laminating pouches come in different thicknesses and the thickness of the pouch used will determine the rigidity of the final laminated photograph. A thin pouch for example will produce a ‘soft’ lamination so that, while perfectly preserved, the photograph will still have some bend in it and be soft to the touch. A thicker pouch will however produce a firmer result with a laminated photograph which will not bend and is solid to the touch.
